How To Get Rid Of Flabby Arms: For Women

We all have problem areas. Some people don’t like their tummies, for others it’s their thighs. For a lot of women, getting rid of flabby arms is a huge problem. You’ve probably heard that it is impossible to lose weight of a specific part of your body, this is true. What is possible though is to tone and shape problem areas through focalised exercises. Even if you are overweight, with the right strength training you can have perfectly toned arms.

Of course, losing weight through diet and aerobic exercise is going to mean you will lose fat from all over your body, the arms included. Sometimes this isn’t enough to completely tone up your arms. Losing weight simply makes your arms smaller, it doesn’t combat that saggy looking skin and elephant arm look some women have as they get older.

There are two major muscle groups you need to work on to improve your arms. Your biceps are the muscles which run on the inside of your arm from your elbow. These muscles lift the arm and allow it to curl. This is the most important muscle to concentrate on in getting rid of flabby arms, as it is a real problem area. The second muscle group are the triceps, they run parallel to your biceps on the outside of the arm. Triceps make up 2/3 of the muscle mass of your arm, so they are important in establishing upper body strength. The biceps and triceps work together to help you gain strength and build muscle. By building these muscles through strength training, not only will you be fitter and healthier but you will finally beat flabby arms forever.

Strength training is far and away the best way to get rid of flabby arms. You can do most of these exercises in your own home with just a few pieces of affordable equipment. You don’t need to spend a lot of time lifting weights. Twenty minutes every second day is enough to see excellent results.

If you haven’t done any exercise in a while it may be a good idea to consult with a doctor before attempting any training. Also, if you have limited experience with weight training, a session with a personal trainer can help you learn the correct techniques required and avoid injury.

The best exercises to improve your upper arms involve higher weights and low repetitions. Many trainers will encourage women to lift lighter weights with higher repetitions, but this is not the most effective way to get rid of flabby arms. Heavier weights will have you seeing much better results sooner.

    Hi Ruxy,

My first piece of advice to you would be to go about your daily routine and write down everything you do. Also, write down what you eat.

Understand that losing weight isn’t about going on a diet. It’s about making tiny changes to your lifestyle that, done consistently over time, will help improve your health.

You don’t have to from 0 to 100 and buy Go Sleeveless immediately to see changes to your body. It’s about identifying what you’re doing in your daily life that might be causing you to be unhealthy, then taking action upon that.

Feel free to email me your daily schedule and I will further advise you on what to do.

    best regards,

    Cheng.
